Frequently Asked Questions

Who is behind Top Banana Primary Resources?

Top Banana Teachers is a website run by Dimensions Curriculum. Made up of a dynamic, friendly bunch of educators with roots firmly planted in the real world of schools, we have been successfully creating plans, activities and primary resources for teachers over the last eight years, with the aim of improving the learning experience for children in schools.

Top Banana Teachers is a website aimed at providing affordable, creative primary resources for individual teachers, so, whether you’re a student, an NQT or an ‘old hand’ looking for some fresh, new material, there’s going to be something for you!

How do I log on to the Top Banana Teachers website?

You’ll need to navigate to the top right hand corner of the screen where you’ll see ‘Your Account’. Click on this and you can either create a new account or log in to an existing account.

I’ve forgotten my username and / or password?

Worry not! If you click on ‘Your Account’ in the top right hand corner of the Top Banana Teachers website, there is a little link there that says ‘Lost your password?’ Simply click on that link and follow the instructions to reset it. If you can’t remember your username, simple call the Top Banana Team on 01254 779142 or email us on and we will be able to help you.

Why do I have to create an account?

It’s extremely important to register your unique username and password and create an account. Your account is where all of your downloads are stored, so registering with us safeguards your downloads and allows access at home or work, across any platform, on any device.

Is there a subscription plan?

There’s absolutely no subscription plan for Top Banana Teachers. You pay only once for the resources you need and the files are yours to keep and re-download as often as you like. We’ve been speaking to teachers for many years and we’ve got a good idea now of what they do and don’t want. Teachers tell us they like to ‘keep things simple’ so, with this in mind, we’ve decided not to charge a subscription, adopting the ‘pay as you go’ approach.

I love your lessons! How do I pay for them?

You can pay via PayPal, either using an account or with a credit or debit card.

Can I pay over the phone?

Unfortunately, no. This is an online website for online purchases only.

My payment was declined. Why?

Please feel free to re-attempt your purchase. If you are still having issues, just get in touch with us so we can investigate further for you. Simply call (01254 779142) or email

How do I know my card details are secure?

We use PayPal, which is a very secure payment method.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! All of our lesson bunches are discounted, with savings of 10-15% (compared to the cost of buying the individual lessons separately).

We also have special offers running from time to time. Keep a look out for our these, as well as promotional codes, which you can enter on the website when you checkout. If you like our Facebook page and subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll hear all about our special offers.

How do I get my resources?

Once you have paid for your Top Banana Teacher primary resources, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This email will include links to download your purchased resources to your PC or device. Your resources will also be added to the download area within ‘Your Account’ on the Top Banana Teachers website. So, you will always know where your resources are and can download them as many times as you need.

Help! It won’t download, it won’t open and it’s all going ‘pear shaped’!

Our Top Banana Teacher resources will come to you as a .zip file and therefore shouldn’t cause you any trouble. Some of the resources within the .zip files are PDFs and may therefore need a PDF reader, but that’s all. If you are having problems with any files, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us by phone 01254 779142 or by email and we will do our best to help you.

Can I edit the planning?

Yes, you certainly can. All of our KS1 and KS2 lessons are fully editable word documents, so you can change and adapt the lessons to suit your own needs and the needs of your children. Early Years planning comes in PDF format, but the content can be easily copied into a Word document and then edited in the same way. The lesson plans may only be adapted for use in your own class, however. They must not be reproduced for any other purpose or shared with any parties, including other teacher friends and / or colleagues.
